Thanksgiving day sailing

Some people think we're nuts, but my Dad and I have a tradition of eating thanksgiving dinner on his boat and having a campout of sorts on the water. We usually invite along a few more people with or without boats and raft the boats together for dinner and an overnight. There are two boats in the picture but you can only see the mast of the other.

This is Canadian Thanksgiving so it's only October, but it's still the absolute tail end of doing anything on the river for the year. The water is still barely tolerable, but the wind will usually freeze your tips off. This year I managed to get a sunburn. Weirdly warm weather, I'm usually in polar fleece, not a tank top by October 7.
